Seven-fold Ministry Approach for Trinity A.M.E. Church

W - Work

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; and confirm us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands.

Psalm 90:17 NASB

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father. John 14:12 KJV

O - Outreach

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20 KJV

R - Reconcile

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 ESV

S - Save

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17 KJV

H - Help

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak; remembering the words the Lord Jesus Himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' Acts 20:35 TNIV

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 1 Thessalonians 5:14 TNIV

I - Instruct

He had been taught the way of the Lord, and he taught others about Jesus with an enthusiastic spirit and with accuracy. However, he knew only about John's baptism. Acts 18:25 NLT

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

P - Preach

The Lord has put His Spirit in me, because He appointed me to tell the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to tell the captives they are free and to tell the blind that they can see again. God sent me to free those who have been treated unfairly and to announce the time when the Lord will show His kindness. Luke 4:18-19 NCV

God gave us a mission and vision to meet the needs of His people. The acronym W.O.R.S.H.I.P. is our

seven-fold ministry approach to work the mission and vision. Our prayer is for God to continue to lead and

guide us so that we are faithful to the ministry as God's servants to His people.
